In 1998, two students from San Diego were looking for a trusted-but-not-too-expensive company to write a piece of software for a smart and super-secret project. For a sustainable world

Currently, only 14% of plastic packaging is recycled. Even in a world with major environmental challenges, traditional recycling methods are limited.

Even as economies continue to deal with COVID-19, Noxtron is helping make it possible to recycle more plastic. As part of our RE'CIRCLE initiative that includes a state-of-the art environmental software platform, we are collaborating with companies to accelerate the recycling of mixed plastic waste back to its original polymer. Already the partnership has extended. Noxtron partners in packaging are manufacturing with “closed loop” recycling where the materials can be converted back into the original high quality product.

Women in Technology

On 6 March, we held two events at the Science Museum in conjunction with the launch of our 'Women in tech: time to close the gender gap' report.

In the afternoon 80 girls aged 14 to 16 representing 8 different schools, and a group of air cadets, enjoyed an inspiring afternoon in the Engineer Your Future gallery at the Science Museum.

With a mixture of role model speakers and a workshop where the girls worked in teams on a task requiring coding, soldering, design and more, the event really changed perceptions of what a career in tech could be like.
